I keep thinking that I really don't have much to say. Or much to say that is interesting! Maybe I just need to practice.
This week has been much better than last week and I'm terribly glad. The last few weeks have been so stressful that I didn't turn the lights on my Christmas tree on, I let the house go (see the dirty dishes and stuff?), and basically vegged. But I turned the Christmas tree lights on last night and they were surprisingly cheery. Now if I could just get the presents wrapped and under the tree........
I'm really excited (and motivated) because Laura, John, Emily, & Ethan are coming! They will be here for the HU basketball game Friday night and will go back to Fordyce on Saturday. SO, I have to clean the house, move all breakables to the top of the tree (and off the tabletops), and wrap all the presents! I have really missed having my sister close. I got spoiled living in the same town. I enjoyed dropping by their house - for tea or coffee and short chats with Laura, for the occasional dinner, when Aunt Katie needed to see the kids (and babysit), or just for some advice. But I'm so thankful for the time I got to spend with them when they were here!
